RESIN FIBER DISCS

Resin fiber discs are used on right angle grinders for sanding and weld smoothing.  Use with a backup pad that is the same diameter as the disc.  For more information click on Application and Safety Information.
Available three grain types
 (click on your selection below):
Aluminum Oxide for general purpose metal use.
Alumina Zirconia for premium metal use.
Silicon Carbide for granite, marble, concrete, etc.

Backup pads for resin fiber discs.

 

Kits are available with resin fiber discs.

Disc Sizes

All discs  are listed in order by DIAMETER x ARBOR HOLE x GRIT.

Disc Types

Type A aluminum oxide discs are a premium quality resin over cloth fiber disc.  These discs are made with a special grinding additive to provide cool operation.  Use with most ferrous metals.

Type AZF alumina zirconia (Blue Colored) are made are recommended for extra life on tough grinding jobs.  They are excellent on stainless steel.

Type S silicon carbide is for concrete, masonry, granite, marble, and similar materials.

Backup Pads

All resin fiber discs must be used with a good quality backup pad.  The pad should be the same diameter as the discs, and should include a strong nut to attach the pad and disc to the tool shaft.  We offer a complete line of backup pads for use with resin fiber discs.  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE BACKUP PAD PAGE.
